ABOUT A NEW BAND A DAY!
A New Band A Day is designed to do two things. Firstly, to find really good new music and bring it to your attention; and secondly, to… actually, then, just one thing.

On A New Band A Day you’ll find a new band a day posted for you to investigate and see if you like. That’s how we came up with the title of the blog, see. We’re not rocket scientists, you know.

And then, possibly against our better judgement, every now and then, we’ll post a radio show for you to listen to, so that you can actually hear some of the bands we’ve yakked incoherently about.

The shows are recorded by the loving folks who run this blog, featuring all the best new music we’ve managed to find during our latest weekly trawl around the interwebs. Then we talk in between them and publish them on this website for your consumption. It’s a bit like setting your ipod to shuffle, but with the newest tunes, and without the possibility of an embarrassing Ugly Kid Joe track being selected.

Finally, and most importantly of all (hence the underlined bold type) we really want to hear from you, Mr or Mrs Reader. Tell us about bands you know that we should play, or gigs we should go to. If we like your suggestions, we’ll play them! We’ll even give you a ’shout out’, if you like that sort of thing*. It’s interactive, see, like when you vote for which slack-jawed idiot you want kicked off Big Brother.
